W@tCh (Wednesdays at Church)
Wednesdays at Church are a time for fellowship, learning, and worship. You're invited to come to dinner with friends at 6:00 PM. We ask for a freewill donation of $8 per person, and no more than $20 per family to cover the cost of the meal--always catered by NOLA Catering Events. If you wish, you can come early for worship in the chapel at 5:30 PM, and maybe stay later for learning at 6:30 PM. We're done by 7:30 PM, and childcare is available during the meal and learning portions of the evening.

March 13, as part of our W@tCh program (Wednesdays at Church), we will view and discuss a series of short videos called "Israel, Gaza, and a Muslim Perspective." This class will offer insight into the complicated history of Israel and the context for the current conflict. Both Jews and Palestinians claim the land as their legitimate legacy—promised by God, with historic and cultural legacies. Imam Steve Elturk hopes that a just and lasting peace will be established by leaders who respect the rights and aspirations of both Israelis and Palestinians, ensuring security, dignity, and self-determination for both peoples.
During that same time Mtr. Gina will lead another edition of Club 456 for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders--all are welcome!
Here's a preview of the first lesson of "Israel, Gaza, and the Muslim Perspective" class.
