What is holding you back?
If there is something holding you back from spiritual growth, we bet we can guess because we've all been there. There are three big obstacles to spiritual growth that we see regularly. One is knowing how to get started. What should I be doing to deepen my relationship with God? Another is feeling so swamped by life that we cannot imagine adding yet another thing. How do the people in the pews next to you, who seem to have it together, manage busy lives and still seem to have time to grow spiritually? The third is having someone to guide and encourage you along the way. Kind of like exercising, it's so much more motivating to have someone encouraging you along the way.

"Life, Faith, Church" is Designed to Overcome the Obstacles
"Life, Faith, Church" is a summer learning series that is primarily a self-study bookended by only two in-person events so your calendar will not go into overload. This summer you will work at your own pace over a period of about 17 weeks. It only requires minutes per week, and you’ll have an accountability “shepherd” who will check in to encourage you and answer questions.
Who is "Life, Church, Faith" for?
ANYONE in the St. Paul's Church & School Community who wants to grow spiritually. It also counts as a formal pathway towards baptism, confirmation, reception into The Episcopal Church, or a public reaffirmation of faith when Bishop Thompson visits us on Sunday, September 18. Our favorite thing about this series is that it will also give you a chance to build a relationship with another person in the St. Paul’s community who's ready to encourage and cheer you on.
Are You Ready?
If this piques your interest, and you think you might be ready to prioritize spiritual growth, we will offer the “Life, Faith, Church” kickoff at our W@atCh (Wednesdays at Church) event on Wednesday, May 18. We will share Eucharist together at 5:30 PM, dinner at 6:00 PM, followed by an introduction to all the details about the “Life, Faith, Church” series at 6:30 PM. We’re done by 7:30 PM, and childcare is available. If all you can attend that evening is the program itself, that’s fine, too.
Still Have Questions?
